Return & Delivery Issue Policy
ClearSpec Labs is an interactive demonstration product. It does not offer or accept live purchases. This sample does not create a return right, sales term, or legal obligation and is not legal advice.
Before any tenant enables transactions, that tenant's operator—as the seller of record—must set its reporting window, remedies, contact method, governing law, and carrier process, then obtain approval from its own qualified lawyer. Seven16 Group LLC does not sell, ship, accept returns, issue refunds, or file carrier claims through this demo.
Proposed tenant policy
All sales are final
Because research materials require controlled custody, storage, and handling, products cannot be returned or exchanged after an order is accepted or shipped—even if the package is unopened. Returned research materials must not be restocked or resold. This final-sale rule applies except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Change-of-mind requests, an item ordered by mistake, opened or used product without a verified delivery defect, improper handling after delivery, and dissatisfaction with a research outcome are not return reasons under this proposed policy.
Narrow exception process
No general returns. Documented delivery issues can be reviewed.
- A vial or other product arrived visibly broken, cracked, leaking, or with a compromised seal.
- A vial or line item shown on the packing record is missing from the delivered package.
- The seller shipped a product different from the item shown on the order record.
Evidence needed for review
A report should include enough evidence to match the order, package, and affected contents. The seller may request:
- Order number and carrier tracking number
- A short description of what is missing, incorrect, or damaged
- Photos of the outer package, shipping label, and inner packaging
- Clear photos of the affected vial or all items that were received
- The carrier case number, when a carrier trace or claim has already been opened
What happens after validation
After reviewing the evidence, the tenant seller may replace the affected item, refund the affected item, or coordinate a carrier claim, as permitted by its approved policy and applicable law. A report does not guarantee a full-order refund or replacement.
The seller determines whether it or the recipient should file with UPS or FedEx under the seller's carrier agreement. Carrier deadlines and evidence rules are separate from the seller's policy, so shipping damage or missing contents should be reported promptly.
Packages marked delivered
UPS or FedEx tracking and proof of delivery are treated as strong evidence that delivery was completed. A package marked delivered is not automatically eligible for a refund or replacement. A recipient who suspects misdelivery or theft should first check the delivery location and household, promptly open a carrier trace, and give the seller the carrier case number. The seller then reviews the tracking record, delivery evidence, and carrier result. Nothing in this template limits a right that cannot legally be waived.
Tenant launch boundary
This draft does not approve or replace a tenant's privacy notice, terms of sale, shipping policy, recall process, dispute process, or other required disclosures. Every tenant must have its own operator and lawyer review the complete policy set before live commerce is enabled.
